Halls or Houses

So you have been at University of Lincoln a year and lived in halls. Now it is time for your second year and you want to live with your new friends. But where to live halls again or student house share close to the Uni? We explore the differences below:

Halls:

All rooms will consist of a bed and storage space. The only decision you have to make is how you feel about sharing a bathroom. Self-catered halls will have between four and ten people sharing a communal kitchen.

The more you’re inclined to pay the more luxurious your stay will be as a first year, you might even swing an en-suite.

On average £5000 for a 48 week or £104 per week contract will give you such a luxury package: a room, en-suite along with a shared kitchen, a bed, curtains and carpet.

Anything lower will most likely consist of a shared bathroom and smaller amenities. But student life is student life, and of course it wouldn’t be the same without a little dirt.

Parking at Halls can be limited if available at all or at additional cost.

Student Houses:

Our houses are all close to University of Lincoln and town on average a 5 to 10 min walk to the main campus.

All houses are accredited by the University with relevant safety certificates. We provide double bedrooms with quality furniture. We have a selection of 3,4 and 5 bed student houses with modern kitchen and bathrooms.

Our rent on average is £83 per week including all bills, electric, gas, water, TV license and high speed broadband so you know exactly what you are paying. This can save you £1000 or more a year compared to living in halls.

On street parking is available for free on most streets however there are some where a parking permit is required from the council.
